Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: your email address and a securely hashed password.
• Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — only a Stripe customer reference and your plan.
• Audio you upload: processed to generate your map and stored temporarily to produce the download; not used to train models or for anything else.
• Usage: records like how many maps you've generated this period and job history, to run the service and enforce plan limits.
• Communication preferences: your choices about which emails and notifications you receive.
• Technical data: basic logs (e.g., IP address, timestamps, error data) needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide and improve SaberForge: to generate your maps, manage your account and subscription, enforce plan limits, send you service-related messages, respond to support requests, and keep the platform secure. We don't sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

We rely on a few trusted providers to run SaberForge, each processing data only to provide their part of the service: Stripe (billing), Resend (transactional and notification email), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), and our cloud database and hosting providers. These providers may process data in the United States and other regions.

Data retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded audio and generated files are kept only as long as needed to deliver your download and are removed on a rolling basis. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data, except where we're required to retain it (for example, billing records).

Security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, payment details never touch our servers, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.

Your choices & rights

• Update your password and manage which optional emails you receive in Settings.
• Opt out of optional emails anytime via the unsubscribe link in those emails, your Settings, or by contacting us.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
• Essential service messages (for example, security, billing, and important account or policy notices) may still be sent even if you opt out of optional updates.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and similar technologies needed to keep you signed in and run the service. We don't use advertising cookies.

Children

SaberForge isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and notify registered users by email or in-app notice.
